When is your next flight school?
We are anticipating our next flight school will be in late 2007-2008.
How do I sign up for the Flight School?
Fill out our Enrollment Form. As we get closer to launching the school, we will be contacting all people who had expressed interest.
What can I do with the Underwater Aviation license?
First, a story from Graham·"Several years ago, I was invited aboard a U.S. research ship with a team of scientists diving the WASP suit. The expedition was being led by Oceaneering Inc, a leading oil field dive company. The lead scientist, Bruce Robison, knowing that I was the designer/builder of the original WASP, offered to give me his dive slot for old time's sake. Before I could answer, the Oceaneering dive supervisor (who didn't know me) stated that since I didn't hold a pilot's license for the WASP, I could not dive. I admitted that I did not hold a current WASP license, nor did I ever have a WASP license. I did not, however admit, that I had designed WASP, carried out all the test dives, then trained and signed the first Oceaneering pilots licenses for WASP. It simply had never occurred to me to give myself a license.
I am giving myself license # 0001, and I will personally train and sign the first Deep Flight licenses."
As far as what can you do with your license — In the future, we hope to be able to provide access to the Deep Flight 502 for our licensees for diverse unique explorations, ranging from science to tv/film work, including shipwrecks, big animal, and other unique expeditions.
