Having introduced the entirely novel concept of underwater flight, Hawkes Ocean Technologies created the world’s sub-sea flight school in the Bahamas in February/March 2003 and held its second course in the Sea of Cortez in May-June 2004. The next course is planned for Summer 2009 in Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
The Flight School is open to anyone interested in helping pioneer sub-sea flight. The Summer 2009 course offers a 1 dive experience, a one-day course, or a three-day training and licensing option
